Electrolux Food Foundation Joins In Global Sustainability Project

Approximately 4-10% of food purchased by restaurants is wasted prior to reaching consumers. In August, the Electrolux Food Foundation partnered with Worldchefs to educate chefs on how to use food resources in more sustainable ways.

In 2016, the program was piloted in select schools in Costa Rica, Ireland, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates. Canada, Egypt, India, and Italy are expted to implement the curriculum in various institutions next year. To read more, click here.
